[Well, after a few days of putting up with the insanity of swapping bodies with his best friend, Dist has had just about enough. The mistaken identity was absolutely irritating now, and he's sick and tired of it. If these people want Jade, then fine. He'll gladly oblige their wishes for the old goat.

So, after throwing up a quick filter away from Nephry (who he's certain will disapprove of this) and looking over his shoulder ~~to make sure Jade didn't burst out of his closet and choke him~~ he opens his journal and makes a VERY MATURE voice post.]

Good evening, everyone. This is Colonel Jade Curtiss speaking to you all. I'd like to take this opportune moment to say that as well as being returned to Luceti for a brief stint, I am a bumbling idiot with absolutely no fashion sense what-so-ever. I eat out of a trough in Grand Chokmah, where I'm walked every morning, though I prefer to be carried as I'm too old and feeble to do much of anything, really.

My best friend is actually a man I'm sure you've all heard of - Dist the Rose! He's far better than me in every aspect and I only wish I could achieve half the things he has, but never will...

Alas, if only I wasn't born with the brain of a rappig. Oink.

You're only half correct, don't pat yourself just yet. I know how to deal with this sort of thing on Auldrant, for the most part, but here its different. The structure and make up of this world is puzzling, and I'm not even sure if we ourselves have or have not been altered down to the molecular level.

From that perspective, I can barely do a thing, just wait and watch... If the Big Bang happens within either you or your replica, I can't say I know what will happen here, if it'll even happen at all. That's what concerns me... I can't perceive what will happen to either of you anymore. This very environment is interfering with everything I thought I knew!

[For once, Asch listens, taking in Dist's response and giving it consideration rather than a simple retort. So after all that, Dist is useless to them here? He made it sound like he'd be coming to their rescue.

[Asch, you are pressing your luck. Though he may not be able to help much, he does want to, if only for research purposes. But now? He's really starting not to care anymore. He'll lose valuable research material, but that's honestly not bothering him that much anymore.]

If you let me take a blood, skin, and tissue sample, that could provide me with a few answers. That new battledome's medical facilities are more advanced...I could get some answers to see if anything is dying away at the very least.

[He's the fool, for doubting Dist's good intentions? Right before Dist goes and calls them both research specimens? Maybe he is a fool- for hoping that after all his mistakes, all his misguided decisions, his intentions would shift towards making him a halfway decent person. [Maybe if he just gets it over with, while Dist looks like Jade - who, while not a friend, is most trustworthy simply for showing some remorse about what happened - he'll somehow feel better about it.

[He sighs, leaning back into his chair to rub his eyes. This was it. If he did get this taken care of somehow, and figured out a way to prevent, halt, or just slow down the Big Bang, then he'd be done with replicas from here on out. Dist didn't want anything more to do with them anymore. Not after the Professor's replica, and certainly not now, either.]

[Dist breathed out heavily through his nose, adjusting his glasses and trying to take a moment to think. He'd need a place to test things. He prayed the new battledome's medical facilities had at least a microscope and other more functional tools to aid him, but...since when were the Malnosso anything but reliable? This was going to be a very tedious process.]

Good, I don't want to hear anything from anyone about how I did nothing if there is no way around this. ...Once this madness is done with, I want to at least get some blood from you and perhaps your replica as well, if he agrees to it. I'll make an effort to do more on the side as well.
