Six Rose Petals Fall - [Voice | Action]

[It took some time for Dist to finally post this, since it was so against what the fontechnician usually regarded anyone of Jade's group. But after being helped by one of them, well...thanks usually were in order. It took Dist a few tries with writing, and in the end the journal's audio flips on and a decidedly female voice sighs.]

[Dist doesn't wait for an immediate answer. She shuts her journal once she's done, sighs, and tucks it away as she decides it's high time to pay the library a good visit. She'd been neglecting gathering some research information, and had a few things she wanted to study. She takes a look as the dark, cloudy sky, and takes an umbrella just in case it does end up raining.

So, anyone outside will see a white-haired, glasses-wearing woman making her way to the library. She's just in a comfortable looking black blouse and skirt, and her hair is pinned back to one side with a rose clip. She's deep in thought over various things, even when she finally arrives at the library, so feel free to notice or bump into her. Literally.

Just don't expect to be well received if the latter does occur. Dist is still Dist through and through.]

[OOC: Have another genderbender! Everything is basically still the same in canon, and Dist remembers his CR and memories in Luceti and outside. He just remembers himself being female throughout everything ~~since I couldn't help myself~~. HAVE FUN WITH THAT.]

[Dist blinks as she was looking through rows of books, checking the spines for the familiar curling letters of the fonic alphabet, and looks down to spot the child.]

Yes? Can I help you, young man?

[He's usually not good with facial expressions... or well bright ones. But he does at least sound ~sincere~ and tries to look cute, even]

[Well, it's a good thing Dist is both used to stand-offish people - namely Jade - and can tolerate children to a good extent. She may even like them a little bit, and it's always good to see one in a library. Children usually don't go near them.]

Of course, what are you looking for?

I was trying to reach the one at the top with a green spine. [He points to it. He can't fully make out the title from this angle, but he seemed to have spotted "memory" on it and it looks like a textbook. He hopes it's a textbook on people's memories so he can look at this from a non-Σ standpoint because this week is weird]

[Dist follows the young man's finger and points to the book on memories, taking it down for him to observe. "Memory", hm? That would be a good topic to research, now especially.]

Is this the one you're looking for? I must say, you have a healthy mind to be regarding texts such as these.

That's right. [...It looks like a good one. He can't sense any notable residual Shinen on it which means he'll actually need to read it but... oh well]

And thank you, it's... a hobby of mine to look into things.

It's good to see children actually spending time learning that doing other mundane things. [She sighs and pushes her hair back.] The youth here is so against following their studies, it's tragic! But if they want to live lives as filthy peasants, then so be it...

[He shakes his head, smiling in spite of himself. That red Shinen was interesting]

[Though she's usually rather talkative, Dist isn't one to bother someone else when they're reading. Plus, she has her own things to look for. Books and papers on isofons, replication, maybe fontech for her own personal pleasure. There's a lot to really think about right now.]

[Libraries. Who needs libraries? Anise over here is out and about, still not comfortable with spending more time than necessary in a house where people who remember her differently.]

Ah, I knew I should've brought an umbrella with me!

[Dist hadn't reached the library just yet, but spots this young woman out side, muttering to herself. For moment, Dist really doesn't care, it's none of her business if the girl get's soaked or not if it does rain. Dist gives the girl a brief glance, but then halts suddenly as she catches a glimpse of her face.

It couldn't be...]

[Anise turns, and spends a second or two just looking around for whoever it was that called her this time. Hopefully they had an umbrella!]

[Until of course she spots Dist. Who doesn't look all that different, save for... yeah.]

[.... Well, she knew about the genderflip, but Yulia. It's so different in person.]

[For a moment, before she replies, Dist just stares at Anise at a complete loss for words. She knew the girl had changed as well, from Gelda, but it was still amazing to see just how much she changed. And, Anise is in luck! Dist does indeed have and umbrella - which she's leaning more towards the girl so she won't get wet.]

G-Good...afternoon. I didn't expect to see you out on such a dreary day.

[Anise is just grateful to get out of the rain!]

... Given how crazy it's been, I don't think I could last very long if I had to stay in the house all day.

I most certainly understand what you mean. I was...growing a rather large headache staying inside. [That's one way to put it, at least. Dist was questioning her memories and past.]

Oh, no where really. I couldn't hear myself think back in the house, so I've been out and about a lot.

That is among the reasons I myself have deemed it fit to escape as well. I'm not sure where you plan to go, but my destination is the library. If you'd like, I can at least escort you to the item shop so you can find an umbrella for yourself.

Oh, I didn't really have anywhere in mind... [She just needed to get out of there, really.] But an umbrella's probably a good idea.

[Warily looking at Dist now.] You don't have to escort me or whatever. I'm not a kid.

[Don't expect Dist to hand over her umbrella anytime soon, Anise. She's not risking her clothes to the possibility of rain. And what's with that look? B\]

I can most certainly see that... But so be it, if you want to walk and risk getting wet... [She removes the umbrella from over Anise's head and steps away indifferently.] So be it.

[She doesn't feel particularly comfortable around you, okay. Not that his sudden change in gender helps any.]

Really, it's no big deal. What's the worst that could happen?

[Hey, the feeling's mutual. You're supposed to be a cute, if not completely insufferable little brat.]

I really could care less. I offered my help and you refused. Whatever happens to you now is none of my concern. You seem to be a grown woman now. You can take care of yourself, can't you?

[And she'll be walking away very pompously. And she's taking her umbrella with her.]

Uh, obviously. [Just giving Dist a look that could be best summed up as "are you stupid or something?"]

[And she's likewise turning around to head in the direction of the shops. But not before muttering to herself a little bit.] Wish your genderflip at least improved your attitude, though. Geez.
